What to expect

Meet Ash

Ash is a lifelong passionate waterman and Central Coast local. He surfs, kitesurfs, enjoys snowboarding in winter and of course has a passion for foilboarding. The advantage of the electric foilboards, according to Ash, is their super fast learning curve. Compared to all other waterboard sports, they have one of the fastest learning curves – typically only 20 minutes. Ash is a competent, passionate instructor who will have you riding in no time!

We partner with Fliteboard, an Australian company headquartered in Byron Bay. Fliteboard.

Gosford

We operate from the beach just to the north of the Gosford Sailing Club. You can park at the Lions Club or on nearby streets.

Speers Point

We operate from the waterfront near the Speers Point Sailing Club. There is plenty of parking near by.

Terrigal

We operate near the Terrigal Boat Ramp at Terrigal beach. There is plenty of parking nearby.

FAQS

I live on a waterfront property, can you come to me?

Yes! We have permission to operate from Gosford Waterways and Lake Macquarie. Contact us for more information.

What permissions do you have to operate?

We are an authorised Fliteschool under Fliteboard Australia, and operate on the waterways with the permission of both Transport for NSW and Central Coast Council. We have 20M in public liability insurance.

Do you have a retail shop?

No, however we partner with ESS Boardstore at Erina. You can drop in anytime to see a Fliteboard, and we can meet you there to chat about the benefits and tradeoffs with each of the models and discuss purchasing options.

This is an absolute must do activity. Ash is very knowledgeable and a great teacher, you'll be up and flying across (and above) the water in your first lesson. If you're considering buying a board, I'd recommend Ash as it costs the same but you get personal advice on the best setup for you. The fliteboard experience itself was amazing, futuristic and fun.

Fantastic experience. Ash explained everything extremely clearly both off and on the water. I was up and foiling within 10 minutes. Great feeling though weird at first. Ash suggested I try going from the larger board to the smaller one and it was amazing. Extremely manoeuvrable and fast. Would recommend that you give it a go. With Ash’s instructions you will not be disappointed.

Have done a few lessons with other providers in the past but Ash has a really cool one where he takes you out to the ocean which was an amazing experience. His customer service is second to none, so good that I decided to buy 2x fliteboards through Ash rather than go through Fliteboard directly as the information, care and time spent by Ash in helping me with this big buying decision was amazing and really appreciated. I had an amazing time, with Ash the instructor on the flyte board ,I was well pleased with tuition given as I'm pretty useless at skateboarding and surfing , so honestly thought I would just be Riding around on my knees, but after only a few minutes of guidance was up flying high, 😉 feels so much faster than it looks and loved every minute of , great value for money compared to other water sports offered in Australia , and way cooler n far more fun than hiring a jet ski ... cant wait to do it again, wish I had booked a longer session.... currently thinking about travelling back up for a session tomorrow 🙂 as only traveling in Sydney at present .
